Based in Tynemouth in the North East of England we have two VW Campervans that will help you start your own adventure; Gracie a 70s classic VW and Charlie a modern VW campervan, both come with everything you need to make your holiday one to remember. With the Northumberland, Scottish Borders, Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District all within easy reach, Camperscape can help you plan the perfect break. We know some cracking campsites and can help with hints and tips for the novice campervanner as well as those for whom setting up camp is second nature. Each of our vans comes stocked with the essentials to make your holiday one to truly remember.

We are in North Tyneside, on the coast near Newcastle in North East England. Directions on how to find us will be sent once your booking has been confirmed. We offer wedding hire - get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Both of our vans 'Charlie - T4' & 'Gracie - T2' seat 4 (including the driver) with seatbelts. Charlie can sleep two children in her roof bed and Gracie can fit two (light!) adults in her roof bed (recommended weight limit of 100kg).

What are the Campervans like to drive?: Charlie the T4 is just like a modern car, with 5-speed gearbox, power steering etc. and will take little time to get used to (remember she's a 'high-top' so is a lot taller than a car) Gracie the T2 is nearly 40years old, and without the mod-cons you'll be used to on a modern car. She has a 4-speed gearbox and no power steering; shes different to drive - not difficult. It will only take a few miles to get the hang of the gears, but once you've got it you'll get into the swing of things and remember the journey is part of the adventure, relax and take it easy.
